Pet Waste Wellness Observation

A trusted service that checks your pet’s waste for early signs of health issues and helps keep them safe and healthy

What is a Pet Waste Wellness Observation?

  • Our Pet Waste Wellness Observation is a trusted way to monitor your pet’s health through their waste. At Clean Paws, we look for changes or warning signs during each visit, helping you catch potential issues early. This service gives you confidence that your pets are being cared for, even when you're not available to notice the small details.

  • Monitoring your pet's health

A visual inspection of your pet's waste for changes in consistency, color, frequency, or the presence of blood, mucus or foreign objects. These observations can indicate digestive issues, infections, parasites, or other potential health concerns. While not a substitute for veterinary care, this allows us to provide early alerts so pet owners can address possible problems before they escalate.

  • Listening to Their Signals

Pets communicate in ways we often overlook. They can't tell us when something is wrong but their waste can reveal important clues. By observing their waste carefully at every visit, we can identify subtle signs of illness, digestive problems, or parasites. This service acts as an extra set of eyes, giving you early warning so your pet can get the care it needs sooner.

  • Maintain Pack Health

When you have multiple dogs, one pet’s health can quickly impact the others. Regular observation of each pet’s waste helps catch potential illnesses early—especially important in multi-dog homes where diseases or parasites can spread fast. If a problem is spotted, pets may need to be separated temporarily to determine which one is affected, helping prevent illness from spreading and keeping your pack healthy.

Our Inspiration

At Clean Paws, our commitment to pet care comes from real-life experience. Early on, our dog began showing subtle signs of digestive distress. By monitoring his waste, we discovered he had contracted giardia—a parasite that can cause serious health issues if not addressed promptly. We are fortunate and thankful that he is healthy now, and that we were able to ease his discomfort with timely care. While he now requires a special diet, this experience reinforced how important it is to closely observe your pet’s waste, as early detection can prevent serious illness and help keep pets safe and healthy. Our experience inspired us to create Clean Paws Pet Waste Removal and our Pet Waste Wellness Observation, a service we noticed was not being offered in our community. We know other pet families in our community can benefit from early detection, proactive care, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing their pets are being closely monitored and protected.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question

Are you a veterinarian or medical professional?

No — our team is not veterinary staff, and we never diagnose or treat pets. Our role is strictly observational and preventative.

Question

Why does pet waste matter for wellness?

Pet waste can tell a lot about your pet’s overall health. Changes in color, texture, frequency, or the presence of foreign material can sometimes indicate digestive issues, parasites, or other concerns. By tracking these patterns through routine observations, we help pet parents stay aware of early warning signs.

Question

How do you communicate your findings?

After your visit, we’ll provide a simple report that will be attached to the job and an email sent to you. You will be notified if anything unusual was observed. Our communication is professional, respectful, and clear — designed to help, never alarm.
